me- + pergi (to go)→mempergi [but base p deleted in most stems]— Indonesian meN- prefix: initial /p/ is deleted in many bases, with the nasal assimilating to [m]. E.g., 'me- + pukul' → 'memukul' (to hit), underlying /p/ deleted.
