Nasalized open front unrounded vowel to Diphthong ei

The nasalized low vowel [ã] diphthongizes to [ei] through raising and fronting, with loss of nasalization in some Romance dialects. This shift occurs sporadically in Northern Italian dialects and some Occitan varieties as part of broader nasal vowel diphthongization processes. The mechanism involves raising of the vowel nucleus combined with palatal or alveolar glide formation, leading to a front diphthong.
