Alveolar lateral approximant to Diphthong oi

L-vocalization is a common phonetic process where the alveolar lateral approximant /l/, particularly its velarized allophone [ɫ], loses its consonantal articulation and becomes a vowel or a semivowel. In certain dialects of English, this vocalization can lead to the formation of the diphthong /ɔɪ/.
